This is the Y-Adapter found at the rear of a late model Fontaine lowboy trailer. The Y-Adapter is used to allow the addition of a rear trailer 7-Way receptacle, for the purpose of attaching a flip axle wiring harness connection. The adapter uses a Phillips Sta-Dry 7-Way receptacle & Phillips 7-Pin male/female connections, plus an external ground wire. The adapter is inserted into the main deck harness ahead of the rear sill connection.
