Our well-established semitrailer dealership is looking for an energetic, self-motivated and experienced aluminum and steel welders to join our team. This aluminum and steel welder has access to a trailer rotator to complete trailer repairs.
Primary responsibilities include the following:
- Under the direction by the Director, Trailer Service, inspect, recommend trailer repairs and complete repairs within deadline
- Properly utilize welding techniques to complete trailer repairs
- Assist mechanics with inspection, diagnosis and performing mechanical and industrial trailer repairs.
- Request parts necessary to complete work tickets
- Complete paperwork and documentation for repairs and inspections via the CRM.
Qualification Requirements:
- Must have welder certification
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Team player
- Commitment to listen and follow instructions; deadline and detail oriented
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb on or under trailers
- Lift 80 – 100 lbs intermittently, and carry up to 60 lbs on occasion
- Strong work ethic
- Candidates must have a basic set of tools and toolbox
