Scott’s Law at the 2019 Illinois Truck Driving Championships

This year’s TDC was Scott’s Law themed! Not familiar? In Illinois, drivers must slow down and move over if they see ANY flashing lights from an emergency vehicle at the side of the road, including but not limited to those of emergency vehicles, tow trucks, or even some construction vehicles.

Again, if you see a stationary vehicle with flashing lights, SLOW DOWN and MOVE OVER! For more information, click here.

To Truck Drivers: Thank You

ILoca wants to reaffirm its commitment to this industry. We are honored to be able to support events like the ITA Truck Driving Championships because we love trucking and trailers. More importantly, we love the people who keep the industry alive.

Truckers are the lifeblood of the transportation industry. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to put fresh food on our tables or put fuel in our cars. Their dedication to their craft is both impressive and necessary, and we are so thankful to every person who is out on the road, hauling everything from foodstuffs to fuel.
